People’s understanding of smart toilet lids seems to be limited to the news of the missing toilet lid in Japan or the diseases that the toilet lid can cure. However, once used, cleaning the toilet lid has become a problem that must be paid attention to. Smart toilet lid products have strong functionality, so you should also pay attention to cleaning and maintenance methods.
1. Surface cleaning
The toilet can be cleaned with a commercially available brush or sponge, or it can be cleaned with a neutral detergent and cold or warm water. When cleaning, pay special attention to the edge of the water ring and the drain under the water seal, because these two places are the easiest to hide dirt and dirt in the toilet. When the toilet lid is dirty, you can wipe it with a cloth dipped in neutral detergent. Do not use gasoline, perfume volatile liquids, acid solvents or hot water to wipe the toilet lid. Another method is to replace the neutral detergent with vinegar, then wipe and rinse, repeat this several times. The sealing rubber of the toilet water inlet valve is prone to aging and failure in places with poor water quality, and must be removed and cleaned frequently.
2. Nozzle cleaning
Many nozzles are made of stainless steel pipe sleeves and plastic pipes, which can easily breed a large number of bacteria at the joints, which is also the reason why the smart toilet lid is not hygienic. Some smart toilet lids use removable nano-silver ion sterilization nozzles to ensure health and safety. In addition, most household water tanks are 80ml and have a lot of water. However, the repeatedly heated water in the tank may produce nitrates and bacteria. It should be noted that the nozzles should be cleaned frequently to ensure hygiene during use.
In order to ensure the healthy use of users, the water inlet of the smart toilet lid is equipped with a water filter filter, which is also a place that needs to be cleaned regularly. Before cleaning the water filter, close the water inlet valve and use a screwdriver or coin to rotate the filter cover counterclockwise to remove the filter. After cleaning the filter with clean water, install it clockwise, and then open the water supply valve for normal use.
